Smallmouth Bass

Caught by Mike Lindsay (Kingston, Ont.) AKA "lindsay356" .. on North Tea Lake where the two arms meet .. on Sept. 1, while trolling for Lakers in our canoe. My wife who was in the bow had to paddle us to shore to land the fish .. brought up from 66 feet of water .. jumped at least 8 times, clearing the water everytime. It was the hardest fighting fish I have ever landed!

This fish was released unharmed.

Caught by Morris Sze (Toronto area) AKA "CanadaMoe" .. on August 15, 2006 around 6:15 pm. .. overcast evening, cool water .. on Booth Lake off the shore on the peninsula campsite west of the island with the four campsites .. on a Mepps Agila Long #2.

The bass was released to fight another day.

Caught in the rain by "Mr Rubber Froggy" AKA Victor Elford (Age 5 of Ingersoll, ON) on Aug 27, 2006 .. with a worm under a bobber from shore at interior camp site on Rock Lake. After landing the big one Mr Rubber Froggy was heard to say "That fish fought like crazy and I thought it was going to pull me in".

The fish was kept and eaten for dinner.
