Location: Island in middle of lake

Landing

Topography of under-water approach: Sand beach.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: Slight rise to tentsite area.

Topography to tent sites: A short walk from tentsite to firepit area.

Landing is on a small sandy beach ...

Campsite

Campsite maintenance: Regular.

Size of open area: approx. 5m x 15m.

Extent of tree cover: 25%.

Degree of levelness: Generally level.

Number of level tent sites: 3.

North exposure: Trees.

East exposure: Trees.

South exposure: Lake.

West exposure: Lake.

General description: A medium size site, with an open view to the southwest. A point on the north end of the island provides an additional view to the west. However, it attracts "picnicers" and illegal campers who may want to "wander" close to the campsite. A few lengths of "flagging tape" would serve well to establish your privacy bounds.

Overall accessibility: A short climb from the landing area.
