Topography of under-water approach: Shallow water, mud & silt.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: Rocky shoreline requires some care, gear can be loaded/unloaded directly from shore. Room for a couple of canoes.

Topography of the ascending grade: Rocky, and rooty, with a significant slope. Trail is wide enough to stage gear on the side..

Impediments to moving gear to portage trail: None.
