Topography of under-water approach: Smooth sandy beach .

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: None.

Topography leading to tent sites: A quick rise of a 1 meter .

The roots could be an issue.

Campsite

Campsite maintenance: Regular.

Size of open area: 25m x 10m.

Extent of tree cover: 60%.

Degree of levelness: level.

Number of level tent sites: 4+.

North exposure: trees.

East exposure: Lake Opeongo.

South exposure: trees.

West exposure: trees.

General description: Well protected site with good exposure to the morning sun. Flat and level, the site could easily accommodate 4 tents. Not much sun will enter the site as it is heavily treed on the perimeter.

Overall accessibility: The only issue would be the lift over the roots at the edge of the campsite.
