Landing

Topography of under-water approach: Smooth flat rock, knee deep water close to shore.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: None. There are numerous places to land. But, the primary landing area is the smooth rock that is the western shore in front of the firepit.

Topography leading to tent sites: You are on tent sites immediately after a slight rise on smooth rock.

Regular or low-maintenance: Regular

Size of open area: : Immense.

Extent of tree cover: 30% tree cover.

Degree of levelness: Fairly level, elevation change of 2m over approx. 100m.

Number of level tent sites: Numerous.

North exposure: Lake.

East exposure: Lake.

South exposure: Trees.

West exposure: Trees.

General description: : This is an extremely large site! There are countless tent and/or hammock options. An incredible firepit that can comfortably seat 9 people. Part of the seating is large enough that it could also be used for sleeping.

Overall accessibility: No issues as there are numerous landing options on the western shore of the site, and a major part of the site, at the landing, is 1m above the lake. There is also a small inlet on the northeastern shore that could be used for landing.
