Lower Loader Lake Campsite #1
Note: The site is on a peninsula and the other side of the bay can be seen through the trees looking southeast.
Topography of under-water approach: Easy sandy landing.
Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: None.
Topography leading to tent sites: Trail follows gradual elevation to the firepit.
Regular or low-maintenance: Low.
Size of open ground area: Small.
Extent of tree cover: Intermediate tree coverage.
Degree of levelness: Quite level.
Number of tent sites: 1.
North exposure: Shoreline.
East exposure: There is a bog just 30 meters away. This could be a nightmare site in the summer.
South exposure: Shoreline.
West exposure: Lake channel.
General description: Small, low maintenance site. Overall, quite cosy with an easy landing. Site backs onto a bog, I suspect this could be a very buggy site in the summer.
Overall accessibility: Good.
