Club Lake Campsite #3

Location: SE end of lake.

Landing

Topography of under-water approach: Silt and fist sized rocks.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: Large rocks line the shore. Gear can be unloaded from the rocks, or this is one place to land one canoe.

Topography to tent sites: 10m path with a rise of 3m.

Campsite

Campsite maintenance: Regular.

Size of open area: 10m x 10m.

Extent of tree cover: 90%.

Degree of levelness: Fairly level.

Number of level tent sites: 4.

North exposure: Obstructed view of lake.

East exposure: Trees.

South exposure: Trees.

West exposure: Trees.

General description: This is basically an island site. It is on an elevated portion of land on the edge of a marsh. Very protected from wind in all directions so the only good view of the lake is from the landing area.

Overall accessibility: Loading and unloading of a canoe requires somes care because of the large rocks, but othewise no accessibility issues.
