Topography of under-water approach: Rock and silt.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: Room for 1 canoe at a time, gear must be lifted to area away from landing before next item can be unloaded.

Topography to tent sites: Slight rise, short walk.

Campsite maintenance: Regular.

Size of open area: 15m x 5m.

Extent of tree cover: 70%.

Degree of levelness: Level site.

Number of level tent sites: 2.

North exposure: Trees, view of lake.

East exposure: View of channel .

South exposure: Trees and lake.

West exposure: Trees.

General description: Smallish island site, fairly level with a couple of flat spots that can accommodate a 3-man tent. Firepit is open at the front of the site on a large rock. Best views are from the firepit area, but are limited by the small size of the lake.

Overall accessibility: No real issues other than the small landing area.

Firepit is completely open with a nice view of lake ...
