Individual emails were sent to all the discussion forum members, bringing their attention to new developments ...

Welcome from the Steering Committee of the Algonquin Backcountry Recreationalists. On March 29th the Steering Committee held another meeting.

We are glad to report that our Bylaws and Constitution are almost finalized. In addition, a number of the ABR committees are making progress in their various programs.

While our online forums provide an opportunity to discuss pre-formation matters, it was considered appropriate to provide forum members with details of our progress. The new "Resources Section" provides a sequential record of the activities of individual committees. You may access it at ... http://www.algonquinadventures.com/ABR/resource/news.htm .

In addition, we are now issuing numbered memberships in the ABR. No fees are being charged for membership. However, we are asking that voluntary donations be made, to support ABR operation and activities.

Please check over the content in the "Resources Section", continue to visit the discussion forums to share your opinions, and send in your ABR membership application at ... http://www.algonquinadventures.com/ABR/resource/members.htm .

Thank you,

Barry Bridgeford
