Welcome from the Steering Committee of the Algonquin Backcountry Recreationalists. On March 29th the Steering Committee held another meeting.

We are glad to report that our Bylaws and Constitution are almost finalized. In addition, a number of the ABR committees are making progress in their various programs.

While our online forums provide an opportunity to discuss pre-formation matters, it was considered appropriate to provide forum members with details of our progress. In addition, we are now issuing numbered memberships in the ABR. No fees are being charged for membership. However, we are asking that voluntary donations be made, to support ABR operation and activities.
